As part of the learning process at Abilities Without Boundaries, we offer our clients a Community Experience Program which enables them to participate in activities that help garner useful skills while in the community. The individuals that participate in this program visit a wide range of settings in the area at which clients can showcase their social skills and ability to learn. With the help of a trained staff person, the clients from Abilities WithoutBoundaries travel to local parks, shopping malls, grocery stores, and more. These unique sites help teach social interaction, money exchange, and dining skills outside the Abilities Without Boundaries facility.

For those unable to leave the premises of Abilities Without Boundaries, we have made the Community Experience Program available at our very own facilities. Our Kitchen Staff works as a team to purchase ingredients, prepare a meal, and serve it to our staff and clients every Thursday. Each day, clients have the opportunity to participate in special activities designed to stimulate their minds as well as their senses. These activities can be anything from live music performances to arts and crafts to trivia games. At Abilities Without Boundaries, there is something for everyone!
