Birdies for Charity is an opportunity to turn birdies into money for Abilities Without Boundaries. A birdie is a score of one stroke better than par for any golf hole. PGA TOUR professionals are anticipated to make an average of 1,500 – 2,000 birdies, Wednesday – Sunday during the Travelers Championship. With Birdies for Charity, 100% of all the proceeds collected will be provided to Abilities Without Boundaries.
 
For example, if 1,500 birdies are made during the Travelers Championship the total pledge would be:
1¢ = $15.00
2¢ = $30.00
5¢ = $75.00
$1.00 = $1,500.00
 
Pledge commitments can be made by individuals or by companies. A per birdie pledge must be a minimum of 1¢, however there are no maximum per birdie pledge commitments. To get started, simply make a minimum of one (1¢) or more per birdie or a fl at rate donation of $5.00 or more to your charity of choice. At the conclusion of the tournament, the Birdies for Charity program will send you an invoice for the amount due based upon your committed per birdie pledge or fl at rate donation.
